Rabbit Art Toy · 3D Character Sculpture
Character design, 3D modeling in Blender, and studio rendering for a collectible spring gardener art toy.

01 / Overview
Comprehensive character design and 3D modeling exploration for a stylized collectible Art Toy inspired by spring and botanical gardening. The project spanned concept development and orthogonal turnaround character sheets in Illustrator through to complete polygonal modeling in Blender, stylized vinyl-toy proportions, custom props (gardener overalls, flowers, and watering tools), and studio lighting rendering.
02 / The Challenge
The core challenge was crafting a clean, expressive silhouette with collectible vinyl toy proportions, maintaining clean edge loops and quad topology across limbs, ears, and props to ensure smooth shading surfaces ready for both high-fidelity rendering and physical fabrication or 3D prototyping.
03 / The Solution
We sculpted an optimized base mesh with controlled subdivision surface modeling in Blender, merging soft organic curves with hard-surface garden props. Bespoke matte vinyl and satin plastic shaders were tuned to capture the tactile feel of contemporary designer toys, paired with a studio three-point lighting setup on neutral seamless cycloramas to accentuate form and volume.
